SO WHY COSTA RICA JENNIFER? (Updated from September 2024)
Hey Gorgeous One!
You may be following my journey to living in Costa Rica. I hope you are being inspired to go for your own crazy, audacious goals!
So far it’s been a blast of ups and downs, which I’m navigating from a place of grace, gratitude and a pinch of nervous excitement, knowing that everything is happening in Divine timing and I am protected by my ancestors, angels and all good things.
So why Costa Rica? I had so many of my friends and followers ask me this question.
At first I would tell my story about watching a webinar by Regan Hillier, the wonderful manifesting coach, entrepreneur and healer. She and her hubby presented the possibility of buying an eco-home “off plan” on their 600 acre estate in Costa Rica. Their intention is to create a community of soul-conscious humans who take care of each other and the planet.
That got me thinking – Why did they choose Costa Rica in the first place?
Something lead me to start looking into CR, as it began to appeal to me as a place I would like to live.
The country does not have an army. ✅
There is no political uprising! ✅
They are big on conservation and protecting their wildlife and their beautiful jungle. ✅✅
They speak Spanish, which I’ve been learning on and off for years with no goal at the time and now I know why – haha! ✅
There are so many retreat centres, shamans and surfers, yoga teachers, healing practitioners as well as business people bringing in their expertise and investments. ✅
I would be nearer to my adult children who lived in the US at the time. ✅
I’ve always wanted to live in Californian since childhood and changed my mind over the last few years because of the political energy changing, so I was looking for somewhere else anyway. ✅
Adding to all of that I also had many signs and downloads pointing me to Costa Rica. ✅
Pretty simple answer – yes? ✅
After much reflection I began to realise that my reason for choosing Costa Rica was deeper than any of that. I chose to live here because of something calling my soul.
I truly believe we are all here on this planet at this time so that we can live a great life – to do what we love – have the things that our birthright – AND to help heal with our talents and divine gifts where we can.
I love London – the architecture, the sense of history, the people the vibe etc.
However, over the last few years, even before the “great deception”, I was feeling the oppression of the place I was brought up in. (I came over from Jamaica when I was nearly 4 years old.)
I could not function fully in my work as the transformational coach, “medicine woman” and fun human being as I used to.
The heavy energy of the collective consciousness is of fear, powerlessness, dis-ease and a bleak future. Everyone I speak to is feeling it!
Moving to a place where I can function, feel alive, have a clear head and connect energetically to the conscious collective here enables me to be fully self-expressed and share my knowledge, downloads and messages from Source to the world.
I feel that I can support my clients on a deeper level and set an example of what can be achieved, not only by practical practices, also energetically. Here I can be healthier and happier which enables me to do a higher standard of work that I love, with my amazing clients.
I have long realised that as a world community we have reached a time where we have to become awake and aware of the illusion that is being projected on us – that we are weak and powerless and sick.
“They” want us to feel fearful of everything, including each other and that we need to do as we are told, because “they” know best. They tell us that they are working in our best interest, while all the time they are treating us like prisoners in huge jail!
We have an inalienable right to go anywhere we choose on this planet. Our “leaders” have put up boarders and boundaries to keep us controlled and set us against each other.
To be living in a place that gives you energy and vitality, where the people are chilled and the food is real and you feel free is our birthright.
This planet is our birthright.
This beautiful Gaia will never die – but the human being may not “be” for much longer if the conscious collective remains the same.
So, if the energy in one place is not floating your boat, then move to somewhere that you will energetically thrive – simple! (But not easy I know – haha!)
I choose to find such a place so that I can be more effective in being of service to the world while I’m being happy, doing what I love.
I’m living a life that lights me up!
The world needs my medicine, it needs your medicine and tomorrow is a promise to no-one!
So why Costa Rica? So now you know! Pura Vida baby!!
