THE GODDESS AND INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
As I was searching for something to write for this year’s celebrations of Women – the Goddesses, I came across this and I thought I would update my thoughts around who we are as Divine beings.
You are a Goddess!
I want to pay homage to you right now, (if you are women reading this) and to our ancestors (if you are a man or woman reading this).
For all the women, currently and throughout history, who have gathered their power of the Divine Goddess and made a stand to change the things that were and are not working for human-kind and our only home – planet Earth.
I want to honour and thank you for being brave and courageous and for being you.
Not wavering under pressure to be someone that you are not – to fit into the box of being “the good little girl” and do your duty, do what you are told. Stay small and do not make waves because you are, after all, “only a woman!”
You are a Goddess! And you know it!
YOU ARE BOLD!
You possess an ocean of Unconditional Love in your being – and you are not prepared to stand by and let the fear-based, patriarchal system destroy our people and our planet.
You do not conform – you are not a people pleaser! You’ve tried that and it does not work – you have learnt that it weakens your power and stalls your mission.
You are bold with your voice – brave with your actions – and the boss-babe when you need help to take your quest to the next level.
You hear the cry of those who need your light. As Marianne Williamson says – “…when you shine your light – you give others permission to shine theirs too…”
You are courageous women, pioneering women; who have a strong appetite for love – food – sex – nature – beauty – connection – for Earth – for Heaven – for adventure – for creation and for causing massive change for the betterment of all humanity.
YOU ARE BRAVE!
You have been brave enough to go into places that are stuck – stuffy old, decaying with the ones who are unwilling to embrace the shifts that are occurring in the vibration of the planet and the people who are awakening in consciousness – And you call them out on their insanity!
You are brave enough and unapologetic about your Divinity – who you are and why you are here.
You do not do ordinary or mundane! You take bold unreasonable, uncomfortable actions to break open and crack the glass ceiling to let fresh air and oxygen into our world.
YOU ARE FEARLESS!
You are not afraid of the chaos that comes for your disruption – you know that calm and peace will soon come.
You are not afraid of those who want to bring you down and stop you from declaring your truth!
You are not afraid of sticking to your beliefs until your last breath!
YOU ARE LOVING!
You are loving enough to go into man-made war-zones, even though you are scared as hell – to bring your love and compassion to those on either side, to those who are wounded mentally and physically.
As a collective our power will never wane.
When we love ourselves – we love each other – admire each other – hold each other up as Goddess sisters with nothing to fear from each other, only everything to love and learn. We are strong as one!
From the dawn of time your heritage has been the Divine Creator – The Goddess
YOU LOVE YOUR MAN!
You love your man – your God! As he too is awakening to the Goddess energy returning and rising on the planet and throughout the Universe.
He supports you in your Divine mission. He loves your uncompromising spirit to challenge him and to win you over. You do not need his approval for anything. Yet he knows who you are and gives you the respect due to you as the Wise Woman, his Queen, his reason.
He needs to know that you don’t NEED him. You WANT him in sacred union.
He is in Divine partnership with you. Both in adoration of each other – together working for the one cause. Unconditional Divine Love for people, planet and the Cosmos.

MADAM C J WALKER – The first African American self made female millionaire
COCO CHANEL – Fashion empire icon – got women out of their restrictive 19th century corsets.
BESSIE COLEMAN – The first African American female pilot (before Amelia!)
QUEEN NANNY – Lead the Maroon slaves in Jamaica to freedom in the 1850’s – even before the rest of the island and the rest of the world.
MAYA ANGELOU – ROSA PARKS – CORETTA SCOT KING – ANGELA DAVIS – JOSEPHINE BAKER – HARRIET TUBMAN…… Add to this list of Goddesses you know in the comments below!

YOU ARE DIVINE!
If you feel that you have NOT been living in your Goddess-ness, you know deep down inside that you have been holding yourself back from speaking your truth and living your Dharma? Then there is no better time than right now, as you read this piece, to take a deep breath and make a decision to step into your Divine Feminine.
Our mothers did it – our mother’s mother did it – our sisters from another mother did it!
They may not have been conscious that they were being Goddesses, but they did what they felt compelled to do from a deep knowing, (through our bloodline memory) – that it was the right thing, no matter what!
Now it’s your turn! If you are a man or a woman – for you both carry feminine energy, it’s time to connect with your inner Goddess. Raise your core vibration to love and above and help to bring the world to, Compassion, Understanding, Connection, Community, Unconditional Love….
