SOME DEVASTATING NEWS THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
Hello Gorgeous!
How are you doing?
In my last email at the beginning of May I was harping on about how we must live our lives and go on wild adventures etc.
Little did I know that the day before my actual birthday, the 13th May, I would be heading for a wild adventure but not a happy one! On a Virgin Atlantic flight to Phoenix Arizona USA.
Because, the day before – on 12th May which was Mother’s Day in the US – I, as a mother, got the most devastating news that a mother could ever get – That was my eldest son Rico (Richard) had suffered a second heart attack and doctors could not save him!
I’ve experience the lost of my husband on 07/07/2007. Also my brother-in-law in Dec 2018. Then our precious Mother on the 6th November 2022. All of these were such painful losses – but nothing compares to the loss of one of my children. So painful!!! It’s something I believe I will never get over!
During the last 8 weeks since his passing I have had time to contemplate what it all means. What can I learn from this? Luckily I have the habit of finding the gem with the poo of a situation and always aim to reframe the bad to the good.
He is out of pain. (He was suffering from renal failure since 2015) He is with is Dad, Nana and Nan. He is happy – I can feel him around me. And that lesson? – Tomorrow is a promise to no-one!!
So we must live our lives now! Do not wait to retire, or next year, or next week before you start aiming to live an extraordinary life.
Aim to become the best of character as you can be. Aim to share unconditional love and spread happiness and kindness. Be non-judgemental. Aim to do the things that you light you up – and not spend your life doing something that makes you money but also makes you miserable. That’s not what we are here for.
If everyone on the planet did this there would be no need for war, famine, emotional pain, prisons, or even government !!!And the way the world is turning into an insane asylum at the moment we need to keep our love radiating through our communities and beyond, if we are to withstand the shit-show that “them up there” are planning for us. (Rant over!)
