Hello Business Lover!
I’ve been advocating the question “What do you stand for?” for over 6 years now. It’s one of the questions I ask my attendees on my workshops and my private courses ever since I read the phrase in Daniel Priestley’s book “ Become a Key Person of Influence ” I think it’s such a vital question.
It made me stop and think. What do I actually stand for? What would I fight for, die for; what cause would I champion?
At that time I was going through some pretty tough poo in my life. I was trying to salvage my Coaching business and find alternative accommodation after being screwed over by an associate. The last thing I needed was another deep and meaningful question to ponder about how I was running my life! However, it did make me realise that all this work I was doing, all this effort I was putting out, had no real cause.
Yes, I knew that on a personal level that I wanted to leave a legacy for my children, but on professional level I was just doing my work which I loved, however I had no bigger vision, no cause that I stood for.
No wonder part of me felt empty. Even though I love coaching and inspiring people and I get a real buzz from seeing my clients have amazing breakthroughs and great results, there was tiny bit missing – or so I thought.
Deepak Chopra declares that the 7th Law of Success is Dharma. The word in Sanskrit means “Purpose in Life”. He says this means that as spiritual beings having a human experience this is what we are here for, to fulfil our purpose.
“According to this law, you have a unique talent and unique way of expressing it. There is something that only you can do better than anyone else in the whole world – and for every unique talent and unique expression of that talent, there is the spark that creates affluence. Expressing your talents to fulfil needs creates unlimited wealth and abundance.” – Deepak Chopra.

I had to ask myself the question – So why do I do what I do? – I love supporting my people to being the best version of themselves. To help them get back to realising that they are loved beyond measure and that I can see their genius.
My focus for business owners is on their personal development and evolution, not just business. If your foundation is the way you want it then you have a solid platform from where to jump off and fly!
I love seeing people achieve. I get buzzed-up when someone is passionate about doing their thing and they want to share it.
I did some soul-searching and soon realised that this is what I would champion for everyone in the world.
Being real, asking for your true heart’s desires, doing the work that you love, sharing that with the world and being paid well for it. Having a beautiful nurturing home to enjoy the things you love with the people you care about, travel and time freedom – all this is what I want for everyone on the planet.
This to me is real freedom!
I relish showing off other peoples talents, bringing people together to support, share and have fun!
This will be my cause. This is what I will champion – authentic living – inspired living – you living your life your way. Now that feels good – now there is nothing missing – I will gather my tribe and start a movement!
So – what do you stand for? Who would you fight for? What cause would you champion?
