buidling-together-googleHello my Business Lover!

We are now heading for our November event and I thought I would share a few thoughts about my Business Love Club and the power and importance of coming together – community and collaboration.

When you come to think about it there has never been anyone, in the history of the world, who has achieved any level of outstanding success without the help of others. None of the great sports people, business giants, mega-star performers and not even Jesus Christ or any of the great leaders could do what they set out to do all on their own. They all needed the cooperation and help of peers, a mentor, a coach, followers, clients or family to help them achieve their goals.

The same goes for us as business owners. Yes we may be smaller and we may not be aiming for world domination – and even with all the passion in the world, we still can only achieve so much by ourselves.

If you have been working on your own, in isolation or in front to the computer day after day, it can become quite frustrating. If you have no-one to bounce ideas off or you want to find the time to make more sales, or learn how to do social media or do the bits of the business that you hate. Or even share your inner most doubts and fears! You can feel your inner light going out for your business if you don’t make some changes.

It is said that if you want to go fast go on your own – if you want to go far, go with others.

If you want longevity in your business its good idea to connect with like-minded people and have them on your side so that you can go on the journey together – supporting, sharing advice, getting feedback and holding each other up when in need.

When we come together to share our problems they can get solved quicker than we could do on our own.

When we are aiming for targets and goals we achieve them faster when we are held accountable or when we are in a team.

When we want to create something special our creativity is enhanced when we collaborate on our thinking.

Napoleon Hill famously created the “Mastermind” which suggest that a meeting a of minds is something magical –

“Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose……..”

“… No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind – The Master mind

This is where it’s crucial to connect with others to help you grow as a person and your business.

Here are some effective ways to collaborate depending on what you want help with and how you want your business to operate – you can connect with –

  • An Accountability buddy – someone who holds you accountable to what you say you will do.
  • A Coach – who will ask you those deep-level questions that you won’t ask yourself and help you find your own answers.
  • A Mentor – someone who has “been there and done that” and had success at doing it who is willing to show you how you can do it too.
  • Create a Team – in house or outsource- to help with expanding your business so you don’t have to do the things you hate and you spend your time doing the things you love.
  • Joint Venture Partners – were you form mutually beneficial projects.
  • Mastermind Group – where you and your peers come together to share your thoughts and ideas around one specific issue.

In order to grow our businesses and help more people we will have to step up from the one-man-band scenario and expand. Until we are in a position to move up, the next best thing is to join with other like-minded business owners and utilise each other’s knowledge and expertise – share and care.

The new way of doing business is about love-based cooperation and collaboration instead of fear-based competition and bully boy tactics – coming together to make great things happen – getting closer to our customers needs, sharing problems with our peers, and sharing our love.

It’s my aim with Business Love to create a heart-centred community to provide all of the above on a regular basis at an affordable rate for business owners who are passionate about their work and making difference in the world.

Business Love – London is our live monthly event where we come together to connect- communicate – collaborate with other heart-centred business owners.

Business Love International – Members Club combines the live meeting with online masterminding, coaching and resources to further business and personal development and help our members make an impact – make money and make the world a better place by doing what we love.

And amazing things are happening when we are all singing for the same song sheet and we have a shared vision of the world. Members are finding their voice and make progress on their vision, making connections and forming collaborations on various projects.
